Tiendeo ShopFully France

At a crucial time in catalogue digitalisation, the European leader in Drive to Store strengthens its presence in France

As the digitalisation of catalogues accelerates in France with the “Oui Pub” law, ShopFully, the European leader in Drive to Store, is strengthening its presence in the country with the opening of a new Paris office and a growing team, which will support retailers and brands transition to digital catalogues with new technologies.

Starting today, Tiendeo France, the Drive to Store platform active in France that specialises in the digitalisation of promotional offers, will operate under the ShopFully brand. In April 2022, ShopFully acquired 100% of Tiendeo creating a combined group with teams in 12 countries, a network of 45 million active users, and over 400 partnerships with major retailers and best-known brands globally, including Walmart, Auchan, Carrefour and Coca-Cola.

ShopFully’s mission is to reinvent local shopping around the world by digitising paper catalogues and connecting millions of online consumers with the physical stores around them, boosting local sales.

As a result of the acquisition, the fast-growing group will now accelerate its operations in France under the ShopFully brand, while the consumer app and website will continue to operate as Tiendeo.

“As retailers and brands are currently experiencing a crucial time to optimise their local media mix, and through high technology solutions we are at the ready to offer them the support they need. By expanding our product range and growing our footprint in Paris we are embarking on a new growth journey in the region,” commented Henri-Noël Bouvet, Country Manager France at ShopFully.

“We are very excited to strengthen our presence in France at such a crucial time for catalogue digitalisation. Thanks to the acquisition of Tiendeo, under the leadership of Henri-Noël, we want to invest in the local market,  expand our presence and most importantly create value for French retailers and consumers by offering them the technological solutions of our Group,” comments Stefano Portu, founder and CEO of ShopFully.

The ShopFully Group has over 370 employees from 30 nationalities and continues to scale with  plans to open a new office in Paris.

Innovation: new technologies to support retailers in catalogue digitalisation

In France, the legislative pressure of the “Oui Pub” law is accelerating the move to digital catalogues. As of 1 September, only mailboxes with a “Oui Pub” sticker will receive promotional flyers and catalogues across 11 French territories in an effort to limit paper waste.
ShopFully, which has strong experience in supporting retailers to go digital across 12 markets, is expanding its range of services offered by introducing its “Switch Paper to Digital” technology in France before the end of the year. This solution has seen success with leading retailers in other international markets, allowing them to reduce costs while keeping revenues up. The artificial intelligence-based technology will enable retailers to strike the perfect balance in optimising their paper and digital catalogue distribution mix so that they can better reach their customer base.
